Product Designer (m/f/d)

Location in EU. Remote work options available. Open for relocation to Hamburg, Germany. 

‍We are a #b2b #insurtech that helps insurers to streamline their claim management with cutting-edge technology. We help to solve the most critical and urgent claims such as flooded properties caused by natural disasters. We help find the right people to study and solve the claim as fast and efficiently as possible. We are looking for a UX designer to join our team to help us to discover the main needs of our users and customers and help us to scale our product to reach even more users and markets.

• Take broad conceptual ideas and turn them into meaningful products for people who use our service
• Support the Product team in talking to users and stakeholders to uncover the biggest and best opportunities for us to research, prototype, and test
• Design from flows, concepts, and experiences that simplify and distill down complex actions into usable interfaces to prototypes and high fidelity mockups to communicate with team members
• You will give and solicit feedback from designers and a broader product team in order to continually scale your impact
• You will drive partnership with product managers, engineers, customer success, and data scientists in order to oversee the user experience of a product from conception to production

• Proficiency in English, German is a major advantage
• 3+ years of experience in designing world-class products in-house
• You're a hands-on designer that is proficient in user research techniques, interaction design, visual design, and usability testing
• You design for humans, caring about their cognitive load and accessibility limitations
• You thrive collaborating with other designers and partnering with product managers, engineers, and researchers
• You are a great storyteller and communicator
• You bring a playfulness to your work and to the people you work with
